The Blaugranas will shift their attention to their next UEFA Champions League game where they will be at loggerheads with Viktoria Plzen after a hard-fought win against Valencia last night.

Barca president Joan Laporta and his camp succeeded in enriching their squad depth this summer with the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, and Andreas Christensen among others making a move to Spotify Camp Nou. One player on the verge of an exit is summer signing Franck Kessie.

According to reports coming from Calcio Mercato, Kessie’s time at Barcelona so far has been far from ideal. He is fifth in the pecking order in midfield, behind Pedri, Sergio Busquets, Gavi, and Frenkie de Jong.

The report notes that he has played seven games in La Liga this season, starting just two, and when he has played, Kessie finds it difficult to live up to expectations which has made the midfielder wants to leave Barcelona in January.

The news adds that he offered his services to a few clubs in the Serie A, including his former team AC Milan. It remains to be seen if these reports are true.
