Fernandes was speaking at a post-match press conference after the friendly game between Portugal and Nigeria. The Portuguese player decided not to get himself involved in everything that has been happening since the interview was released on social media.
I did not read the interview, so I am okay with that, as I said before now it is the national team.
We have to be focused on the World Cup because the World Cup does not come every time. You don’t have a chance to play in the World Cup every time.
Cristiano is lucky to play the World Cup fine times. Everyone is ready and everyone wants to give rhe best to the team.
The midfielder also cleared the air about the dressing room incident that happened between himself and Ronaldo. According to him, people need to watch the footage with sounds on they will see that Ronaldo made a joke to him.
As I said, this is the national team, Manchester United will be ny focus after the World Cup, after the 18th of December because that is the final.
He added by saying, he has no problem with Ronaldo or anyone he is just focused on doing his job.
