Chelsea football club will most definitely remain keen on improving their attacking options under the management of Thomas Tuchel ahead of the forthcoming 2022/2023 football season.

Do remember that the West London club enjoyed a very interesting 2021/2022 season where they ultimately finished in third position on the Premier League table.

But then, Chelsea football club are on the verge of offloading experienced centre-forward Romelu Lukaku on loan to Serie A side Inter Milan and must now sign a new forward.

And if reports are anything to go by, then Chelsea football club have been linked with a move for experienced Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling this summer transfer window.

The 27-year-old England International, who departed Premier League side Liverpool to join Manchester City back in 2015 has been an important member of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.

The experienced left-winger was heavily involved for Manchester City during the just concluded 2021/2022 season where he scored 17 goals and created nine assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.

But then, Raheem Sterling has just one year left on his current contract with Manchester City and due to his refusal to sign a new contract, the Premier League champions are ready to sell him.

And according to reports from Daily Mail, Chelsea football club are impressed with Raheem Sterling’s performances and are willing to sign him before the transfer window closes.

The reports further claimed that Chelsea are really keen on Raheem Sterling and are now making moves after formally approaching Manchester City over a deal for him.

It is believed that Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel wants to sign Raheem Sterling, but then it remains to be seen if the Blues will reach an agreement with Manchester City before the summer transfer window closes.
